1. How many persons can sleep in the cabin?

There is a double bed in the mezzanine. In addition 1-2 children can sleep on the sofa-bed.  Additional cost 15€/person/visit.

2. Can I bring pets into the cabin?

Unfortunately it’s not possible. We want people with allergies to enjoy their stay without concerns.

3. Are bed linen and towels included in the price?

Yes.

4. Is there heating/air-conditioning in the cabins?

There are heating radiators and a separate air-conditioning system.

5. May I bring my own food/drinks?

There is a fridge, a stovetop, a microwave oven, an electric kettle, some cooking utensils and cutlery. Coffee and tea are complementary.

6. What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 3 pm. There is a key box and you will get the code before your arrival. Check-out is at 12 noon.

7. Is there parking available? Is it possible to charge an electric car?

There is free parking at the harbor close to the cabins. The nearest charge point are located in Sairaalantie 1 (Porvoo Hospital, parking area "P”) and Rauhankatu 1 (Porvoo Town hall). There is a fee for using them.

8. Is the area quiet?

The area is peaceful. The cabins are located in the city center and next to the harbor so one might expect some noise occasionally.

9. Is there a fee for using the bikes?

No. The bikes can be used for free by the guests, there are two bikes per cabin.

10. Am I allowed to go swimming in the Porvoo river?

The environmental health care officials urge you to avoid swimming.

11. Can I buy gift vouchers for a river cabin experience?

Yes. Please contact anu@jokimajat.fi. After payment a gift voucher and further instructions will be sent to your e-mail.
